I'm an Oregon State-licensed tattoo artist, trained at Hot Rod Betties. I’ve been a tattoo instructor since 2016. I am deeply inspired to create timeless, decorative, elegant works of art to enhance the natural beauty inherent in each of my clients.
I have been producing works of public art since I made my first film at the Maine Photographic Institute. Beginning when I was 16, I have studied a range of visual arts, including handmade film, photography, painting, animation, and avant-garde performance art at the Massachusetts College of Art and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston (BFA 2007).
I was raised bilingually and bi-culturally, spending my childhood summers in the Polish town of Kielce, a region renowned as a nexus of paganism and witchcraft. These traditions have always been present in my life, informing my style and inspiring me to act as a bridge between the ancient supernatural and the world of contemporary body art.

Besides being an Oregon licensed tattoo artist, I am also a father of 4, and husband to an amazing wife! I have been an artist since I was a child. Early on I won several drawing/painting contests, and I began to take an interest in graphic design in my late 20's. I've always had an interest in tattooing, and decided to go to school to become a licensed artist. I received my schooling at Angel Ink Tattoo School, and although I started tattooing later in my life, I have finally found my passion! Tattooing is the best career choice I have ever made. I love every minute of it! I also surprised myself by how quickly I learned and become adept at it. I love learning new techniques and styles, and even more, having the honor of clients carrying my artwork around with them forever.

My name is Matt Rumley, I am a self taught artist that has transitioned into the tattoo community, and love every second of it. I am a passionate, and easy going person always willing to sit down and make sure you get the art you want and deserve. I try not to limit myself to any specific style of art. I want to do it all! When I’m not doing skin art, I enjoy my days off with my dog and going out to concerts or enjoying the outdoors. Whether it’s your first or last tattoo, I’ll make sure you feel comfortable and have fun in the process!
